How Do These Heaters Work?
How do these heaters work?
The process the heat pack goes through is known as an exothermic reaction.
With a click of the activator, you teach a few of the molecules to become solid thus causing a chain reaction.
The process results in the contents of the heat pack going from a liquid to a solid state and the by-product is heat.
After using the heater, it can be prepared for reuse by boiling it.
When it is boiled, the salt crystals melt back to a clear liquid, it then stays in this liquid form indefinitely so you can carry it around with you and when you need heat again, just click the disk!
To activate ;![]() |
1.Gently flex the metal disk until the contents of the pack starts crystallising.
2. Allow about 15 seconds for heat to spread throughout pack
3. While crystallising, squeeze pack until soft and ensure that heat generated is maximised.
To recharge ;

1. Wrap the pack in cloth, then place it in a pot of water.
2. Bring to the boil and simmer until the pack is completely clear and all salt crystals have melted. This process takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Cool to room temperature before re-using.
Helpful Facts
1. Do not microwave
2. When boiling, make sure crystals are completely melted or the liquid will quickly re-solidify.
3. Do not leave the pack in the solid state for more than two weeks. Store it in its liquid form.
4. To extend the heat time, the pack should be at room temperature before activating.
5. After activating the pack, be sure to insulate the pack to prolong the generation of heat.
6. Do not freeze the pack.
7. Avoid using sharp object to avoid puncturing the vinyl.
8. Avoid direct sunlight when storing the pack.
9. If you are concerned with your medical conditions, it is your responsibility to check with your doctor before using this product.
10.For best results and to achieve the maximum temperature for the longest period of time, keep your Saltheaters soft by massaging them every now and again after activation.
