To use your S-Boston pocket hand warmer more efficiently

1. Only fill your S-Boston with a full tank when the product is new or when you are sure the fuel tank is empty. If tank is too full the catalyst will become damp resulting in a delayed ignition (taking more than 5 seconds to ignite) and a slower heating process.

2. When you think some fluid remains in the tank Do not re-fill with lighter fluid, hold ignition button down for 10 seconds to see if unit ignites, if it fails add 1 small squeeze of lighter fluid to the tank, this encourages any fluid remaining in the tank to reach the important components and ignite, leave it for 10 seconds before igniting to avoid getting the catalyst wet.

3. If you don’t know how much fluid is in the tank Just fill the unit with 1/4 tank and hold the ignition button down for 10 seconds

4. If your unit won’t ignite If your S-Boston won’t ignite this is due to a damp catalyst, separate the 2 halves and leave them overnight, then go back to No. 2 and try process again.
